Lesson 2

Bring Your World to Life!

Now that you have created your world it is time to get visual. Use the internet to find pictures of what you imagine your world to look like. Does it have water, trees, a forest, people (soldiers, witches) any particular animals?
  • Use a program such as Windows MovieMaker, Photostory or iPhoto to create an interactive presentation of images.
  • Find pictures from Google, Flicker, Facebook etc.
  • Save these pictures onto your computer or USB and then enter them into your presentation.
  • You can move the photos around into any particular order.
  • You may even wish to add some sound, music files or parts of your descriptive podcast with the presentation of your images .
  • Once you have created a presentation, you can save it and present it to the class.

The following is a link to download Photostory for Windows if necessary. Any Windows PC or Mac should already have the MovieMaker and iPhoto programs.
